McDonald Cottage in Tybee Island

Step into Tybee history as you enjoy oh, so comfortable McDonald cottage. The house was originally built by the owner of a Georgia lumber yard out of the best heart of pine.Today it is a warm, refurbished setting of a nautical motif....only about three blocks to the open ocean beaches!

There are 3 bedrooms and there is ample room on the surround cushions in the Florida room (second living room) for additional sleepers. There are two baths, one with a charming clawfoot tub and the other with a shower. There is a washer and dryer for your use. There is a well equipped eat in kitchen with dishwasher.Three televisions; some with DVD. Our shed contains beach chairs and bikes for your use; kindly rinse off the sand and return them. There is an outdoor dining deck with grill!

Yard for the children to play, cozy screened in porch, grill, long driveway for easy parking, all linens provided, beach towels provided (very rare), extensive library. You'll also find a gift "basket" of things you need on arrival so you don't have to run right out and shop for the barest essentials, including paper products and dishwasher soap and laundry soap and garbage bags, etc. You'll be at home as soon as you enter.:)

Forts, lighthouses, parasailing, pier fishing, deep sea fishing, shelling, sun and surf, bike riding, hiking, wildlife viewing, historic sites, shopping, art galleries, excellent restaurants.

 Rates include all applicable taxes!!!

3/15-9/30.....$170 a night, $1050 a week. (Sat to Sat.) Weeks only in June and July. Four night minimum otherwise.

10/1-3/14.....$130 a night, $750 a week.

$100 CLEANING AND LAUNDRY FEE ADDED TO ALL STAYS.

MONTHLY RATE...JAN. AND FEB. ONLY....$1100.

SEASON RATES APPLY TO ALL OFF SEASON HOLIDAYS.
