Deer Creek Cabin in Bailey

Deer Creek Cabin (originally WYSIWYG Cabin) is located in Bailey, Colorado, 45 minutes SW of Denver off I-285 South in the area of Elk Creek Highlands in Deer Creek Valley. It is a great mountain getaway! We are a short drive in to Denver, when you wish to go out to a movie or dinner with friends or family while at the cabin.

We are 1.5 hours from Breckenridge Ski Resort and 2 hours from Winter Park Ski Resort. We are 1.5 hours from Denver International Airport and 2 hours from Colorado Springs Airport.

Deer Creek Cabin has two bedrooms each with a double bed, one bath, full kitchen, wood burning stove/fireplace, deck on three sides, a hot tub on the deck, high speed wireless Internet, DirecTV, burber carpet through out and great views of three Rocky Mountain peaks.

Hiking: You are only minutes from great hiking trail heads in the Pike National Forest from Deer Creek Cabin. You'll see those signs as you drive to the cabin. We have hiked the Rosalie Trail, the Tanglewood Trail and the Meridian Trail, all close to the cabin.

Fishing: If you are a fisherman there is no doubt that you have heard of South Park. Even back in the old days, South Park fishing and hunting had reached the ears of people in distant lands. They came from as far away as England and Ireland to enjoy the plentiful bounty of the Park. South Park is the name and fishing is the game.

Skiing: You are 1.5 hours from Breckenridge Ski Resort. Take I-285W to Fairplay, then Hwy. 9 through Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge. You are also only 2 hours from Winter Park. Take I-285W East toward Denver to Conifer, turn right there to Evergreen to I-70 and follow a map from there.

Whitewater Rafting: We enjoy River Runners. Their Fisherman's Bridge office is located on the banks of the Arkansas River just 5 miles south of Buena Vista on US Hwy 285. With gentle waters, awesome scenery and exciting rapids this section of river offers something for people of all ages and abilities.

At least a 2 night minimun stay is required. PLEASE see the Calendar for available dates before sending an inquiry.

Single - $100 per night (1 person)
Double - $150 per night (2 people)
Additional person - $35 per night. So 3 people would be $185 and 4 people would be $220 per night, etc. A maximum of 5 people per night. No charge for pets. No cleaning fee.
