You'll find our comfortable 3 bedroom home in the northwest Kingswood Parke neighborhood a great location for a great number of activities, including golf or just hiding away from the city bustle. An easy 25 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport will bring you to the front door--far enough away to be quiet, yet with easy access to the whole city via the freeways and loops. There are no end of things to do and see within 30 minutes of your home base.
house rental amenities
Our vacation rental features a fully-equipped kitchen, complete with refrig and icemaker, blender, toaster, microwave oven, and enough dishes and utensils to serve up a gourmet meal. The living room is furnished with overstuffed leather furniture, as well as a small library of books and magazines. Cable television will entertain you, and there is a DVD player. Wireless internet is yours to use as well. The back patio is complete with a gas-fired barbeque, and a table and chairs. We took special care to furnish premium king-and queen-size beds in the first and second bedrooms, and a daybed suitable for two adults or kids in the third bedroom.
activities and attractions in Phoenix Arizona
There's so much to see and do within a short drive from the house, I decided to bullet point them for you:
- There are five public golf courses within 4 miles.
- The Spring Training Facility of the Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers is about 1 mile away; a 20 minute drive will take you to the Peoria Sports Complex with the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners.
- The University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals is just over 20 minutes away, and the Phoenix Coyotes Hockey Stadium is right next door.
Interested in things other than sports?
- The Wildlife World Zoo, about 15 minutes south, boasts over 300 exotic animals.
- The Challenger Space Museum, a Smithsonian affilliate, includes a planetarium and space exhibits. A two hour program that simulates a space mission is also featured.
- The White Tank Mountain Regional Park will keep you busy with many hiking and biking trails and the ancient Indian Petroglyphs.
- The Desert Caballeros Western Museum in nearby Wickenburg features exhibits which illustrate western culture, and a collection of over 300 western-style paintings.
