Eagles Nest on Mutiny Bay in Whidbey Island

Whether you are looking for a romantic spot to celebrate a special occasion, gather with your friends or share a family vacation with the kids, Eagle's Nest is the perfect spot. Situated on the back beach side of Mutiny Bay (truly Whidbey Island's nicest beach!),  Eagle's Nest has everything you could need for a most memorable stay on beautiful Whidbey Island.

Beach access could only be closer if you were right on the beach. There is a spacious lot just across the street from the house that provides dedicated beach access for Eagles Nest and the few other homes that share the back beach street in this small community. There is no bank so just a couple of steps down to the incredible white sandy beach that stretches for miles in both directions.

The main living space is on the 2nd floor so even though you are not on the beach you have spectacular views of the shipping lanes, the Olympic Mountains and incredible sunsets from lots of rooms in the house. The master bedroom sits at the front of the house on the top floor and has a wall of windows so the view is spectacular right from your bed. On the main floor there is a cozy sunroom with a sofa and 2 sitting chairs that makes for a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, cozy up with an afternoon book or have a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful sunsets.

In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal at home, a family BBQ or a quick picnic to take to the beach. Just off of the dining area you will find French doors leading out to a large deck that is partially covered which makes a nice retreat for the hot summer days. There is a full size gas grill on the deck.

For those of you who still have business to take care of we have provided wireless internet access so you can at least sit on the deck and take in the view while you get your work done.

While you are not on the beach the kids have lots of space in the yard to run around and a fantastic swing set to enjoy. There is a spacious driveway with lots of room for a trailer if you want to bring your boat along. There is a public boat launch within a mile of the house.

At an additional cost you can expand your group to up to 8 guests by adding on our lower level studio suite. Please inquire for more details.
