Master with a queen bed and 2nd bedroom with bunkbeds. Great layout for small families or couples. A sleeper sofa is available in the open living room if needed. A large screen enclosed porch with ceiling fans and comfortable furniture serves as a second living room overlooking the lake and Uwharrie National Forest. 

A dock and steps leading into the water are convenient for taking a cool dip. Bring your boat or jet ski and enjoy fishing and the serenity of the lake's 115 miles of shoreline. The dock has room for a boat or jet skis to tie up and access to deep water. 

Covered Gazebo and Canoe... 

Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, utilities (no phone or wifi but smart phones work fine), gas or charcoal grill for outdoor cooking, fire pit, Dish television, dvds, books and games. A hot tub recently installed in December of 2013. Parking for up to 3 cars and a boat launch within ½ mile.  A covered gazebo to give you a place to get out of the sun but still capture the incredible views. A large yard for tossing the football or frisbee. A canoe is available (with life jackets) to enjoy exploring the lake or fishing for dinner. And of course, a hammock for an afternoon nap.

Spend the day boating, swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing on the pier with the sound of the water soothing your stress away. 

For those seeking more adventure... hike, bike, and pan for gold in the Uwharrie National Forest across the lake or hike and rock climb at Morrow Mountain State Park just east of Albemarle. Pontoon boat and Jet Ski rentals are also available from local operators. 

Our home is located less than 10 minutes, by road, to the only restaurants at the lake, and less than five minutes, by boat, to the marina if you prefer to dine on the water or fuel your boat. 

Within 30 minutes... Pisgah Covered Bridge; Falls Resovoir; North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro; Seagrove, NC - Pottery Capital of North Carolina and Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury.  Nearby golf at Badin Lake Inn or golf at Pinehurst 40 minutes away, visit the museum of Nascar’s legend, Richard Petty; or take a caution lap around the track at the Lowe's Charlotte Motor Speedway. Watch a new release movie at the Drive-In Theater in Albemarle or Zip Line through the forest in Asheboro. One hour away…the Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville, NC where you can get up close and personal with an abundance of exotic animals from six different continents...Bob Timberlake Gallery, Richard Childress Winery and Vineyards, Richard Childress Racing Museum in Welcome, North Carolina’s Transportation Museum in Spencer, The Richard Petty Museum in Randleman, NC. shopping in the Furniture Capital of the world, High Point, North Carolina.
