Located in the quiet residential neighborhood of Rio Del Mar, only a five minute walk to Rio Beach and the famous cement ship - this newly remodeled studio is well appointed with quality and tastefully appealing features everywhere you look.  LDM has been created as a peaceful and soulful space, with inviting gardens and a relaxed ambience, near enough to - but separated from - the surrounding, summer-crowded beach community.

LDM is conveniently situated for visiting Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur.  A short drive to major cultural, theatre and music performance venues; there is also a varied selection of restaurants, entertainment and convenient shopping within easy walking or biking distance.  Nearby and popular Rio Beach boasts miles of white sand and a variety of beach restaurants - from the elegant Rio Cafe to the casual gourmet dining of the Pixi Deli.  World class Seascape Golf Resort is ½ mile away.

There is room for three cars to park off the street in front of the LDM entrance. Inside LDM, you will find a comforting and comfortable environment. As you walk through the front entrance, lots of glorious light fills the studio, streaming through the many windows, the French doors opening to the back patio, and a large, overhead skylight.

A comfortable queen sofa bed sits under large windows overlooking the spacious backyard gardens and patio area. An artfully designed wooden ladder leads to a cheerful sleeping loft, with a queen size, ultra comfort bed.

Beautiful granite counter tops surround all new appliances in the compact, well-designed kitchen with state-of-the-art dishwasher, a heavy duty garbage disposal and a large microwave oven. All dishes, utensils, bed and dish linens are included.

In the large private backyard, you will find bamboo, flowers and herbs, a lawn, a birdbath, a sturdy hammock nesting under the overhanging branches of the many Japanese privets on the property, and two brick and cement patios with comfortable furniture for dining or entertaining family and guests.
