Truly the perfect California beach rental getaway, this Upper Oceanview Cottage is a deluxe one bedroom, one bath cottage condo with a spectacular, unobstructed view of the ocean, sandy beach, harbor sailboats, lighthouse, jetty, surfers, the estuary and wildlife including pelicans right outside your balcony - - all at a beautiful resort-like complex on the coast just a short drive north of San Diego.

The cottage is casually elegant and sets on the perimeter of the property facing westerly for unforgettable sunsets. You are in a separate building, not an internal building apartment-type condo, so there are no neighboring balcony or rooftops to obscure the gorgeous ocean and estuary/harbor view. You have your own private entrance, directly from the outdoors so you won't hear or see hallway or elevator traffic.

You will marvel at the beautiful sunset and you can watch the surfers from our balcony. Being on the upper level means no one is upstairs to be noisy and you have a spectacular panoramic ocean view from inside the unit as well as from the balcony. Hi-speed wireless internet connection is complimentary.

The cottage accommodates four people comfortably and all linens, kitchen essentials, beach chairs/umbrellas, boogie boards, float toys are provided. You have nearly 900 sq.ft. of living space and everything is upgraded and upscale - beautiful floors and fabrics, original artwork, a custom fully-equipped kitchen and specially-designed bath. The custom two vanity sinks in the dressing area are unique.

Fireplace in the living area is gas and adds charm to the harbor lights and sailboat masts just outside the balcony....and new cable flat screen and HD TV/ DVD/VCR provide top-flight entertainment.

The spacious master suite has a extra-long king bed - with a comfortable queen-size sofa bed in the living area. A parking space is reserved, assigned and close to the cottage. Security is assured with 24 hour guards and gated entry.

This resort-like, gated community is directly oceanfront on the widest and longest beach in Southern California. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, there is a large pool, jacuzzi, waterfalls, streams and koi ponds, fitness room, putting green, recreation game room with billiards. As soon as you arrive, you will want to put your feet up and relax or stroll along the shore and watch the kids bury their toes in the sand.or take a 5 minute walk over to the harbor and linger in the charming restaurants and shops.

On-site, saunter through the grounds, through lush garden walkways and boardwalks displaying falling water and pools of Japanese Koi fish. Only minutes away --  through the private gates -- are sandy beaches.

Enjoy the hot tub or choose to enjoy either of the two swimming pools and jacuzzi. Two outdoor, gas barbeques are also available for your pleasure.

Private entrance to the cottage. It is on the second level of a separated cottage building with separateprivate entrance from outdoors. It is easy to navigate from room to room because of wide hallways and tile/berber carpeting on the floors.

Parking is private, reserved, covered and close to the cottage front door.

Special activities available just a short drive from the condo include: Disneyland (45 min.), Sea World (25 min.), Legoland (15 min.), San Diego Zoo (30 min.), Wild Animal Park (30 min.), Knott's Berry Farm (55 min.), Universal Studios, and Del Mar Racetrack (15 min.). The marina is 5 minutes walk from the front door and the Oceanside Pier is a fun place to walk, as well. Movie theatres, shopping, restaurants, parks and golf courses are close by.
