Secluded Log Cabin on Privately Owned Lake in Stanfordville

Totally private!!! Our 480 sq. foot LOG cabin (with large stone
fireplace) is beautifully located on the edge of our own 3.5 acre
lake. It is the only dwelling on the lake insuring seclusion for
your stay. There is a covered front porch with cushioned furniture
and hanging chairs overlooking the lake. In addition to that we also
have hanging chairs and hammocks outside the cabin. The entire 85
acre parcel of land has a variety of terrain to explore - meadows,
hills, wooded areas, and even a deep gorge. There are a number of
marked trails on portions of the property. The interior of the cabin
consists of a large living room with queen sized sofa bed, a small
but totally furnished kitchen (with the exception of a full oven),
and a bathroom with stall shower. A large picture window overlooks
the front porch and lake. Outdoors when cooking you have a choice of
using a gas grill or stone BBQ pit and dining on a large picnic table
near the cabin or at the dock. A herb garden with 12 herbs is
available for your enjoyment (in season). A rowboat is available for
your use. There is a dock with steps leading into the water.

Full kitchen with all cooking utensils including small microwave,
toaster oven, electric coffee pot, popcorn popper, separate 18 qt
roaster oven if desired.

In additon to relaxing in our hammocks and chairs or walking in our
woods or rowing on the lake and swimming in the lake there are always
the many activities and charms of the Hudson Valley and Dutchess
County to enjoy.
Stanfordville is nestled between the charming towns of Rhinebeck,
Hyde Park, Millbrook, and Pine Plains. There are many fine
restaurants in the area as well as historic sites, wineries, antique
shops and parks. The Rhinebeck Aerodrome which features WW I aerial
combat re-enactments is nearby. You can also take boat rides on the
Hudson River from Kingston. We will have information about the
Hudson Valley for you to look at when you arrive. We are only 3
miles from the town of Stanfordville and you can buy most anything
you need right in town.

Weekly rates: $1400 + prevailing Dutchess County Lodging tax.

Daily rates: $225 per night + prevailing sales & Dutchess Co.
Lodging tax for stays of less than 7 nights. 2 night minimum
requirement. Holiday weekends - 3 night minimum. Advance bookings
for weekends not available during June, July, August. Weekend
bookings for those months are only accepted a week prior to requested
stay if a full week has not yet been booked.
