We spent a week in paradise. We were so happy with this home. The quietness, ocean breeze and sound of ocean every night was wonderful. Philip (the owner) was so helpful with everything we need. There were fishing poles, a clean wonderful pool, and everything you would need for a week vacation. We didn't want to leave. It was one of the best vacations my family and I have ever taken. We will be returning next year. Alligator Point and surrounding towns are so relaxing and stress free. The area was so remote we didn't even have cell phone service (which was GREAT)!!! I don't want to give all our secrets away but you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Philip for a very very wonderful vacation! We loved every minute of it!!

Recommended for: families with young children, sight seeing

We fell in love the minute we walked in. It was spacious, and quaint and plenty of windows to let in the natural light and breeze from the sun and the beach. Our only regret was that the weekend was over and it was time to leave, would ABSOLUTELY rent again and would recommend to anyone!

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

I give it a three star because parts of it are a little run down. The owner did tell me he was in the process of fixin it. It just takes time. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to emails or phone calls. The price is really reasonable. All together, We had a great time and would consider going back, to stay away from tourist town crowds. Only problems we had were minor problems that come with any house. He does need to fix pier. It was a little scary looking. Afraid to get on it.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, sight seeing
