This single home in Ocean pines features an open floorplan and over 1400 square feet of living space. There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The kitchen and family room have cathedral ceilings and skylights. There are front and rear decks and a nice wooded lot. The home is set on a quite side street with very little traffic. The home has been freshly painted with new carpeting throughout. There is a full size washer, drier and refrigerator. the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. This home is ideal for a large family or group looking for a quite evening after a busy day at the beach !

Ocean Pines has many amenities of their own. There are five swimming pools. One of the five pools is oceanfront on 49th street in Ocean City. Pool passes can be obtained daily or weekly. There are also many parks throughout Ocean Pines and a great golf coarse. There is a marina where boat slips are available for rent and also free boat ramps very close to the house.

After reading the above review I felt it was extremely necessary for me to write one of my own in defense of this beautiful home and wonderful owners. Please do not let the above review deter you in anyway from renting this home. My family has infact rented this home two years in a row (Aug of 2010 and July 2011) and we are looking to rent it again for the summer of 2012.

This home is georgeous. We infact rented it before and after the woman who wrote the review and the home was in the exact same spotless condition both times. The furniture IS lovely, the linens ARE clean, the kitchen IS spotless and comes with all the supplies you need for a week including a Keurig. We did not have any issues with the air, or the showers and there were plenty of us staying there. Yes, this home is in the woods so there are bugs. However, when one is outside in the summer in the woods there is always bugs.

This home is a fantastic rental and I would recommend it to everyone. This home was able to accomadate my whole family from a pregnant woman, to baby and my 85 year old grandfather. It is perfect for everyone!

As for the parking that is wonderful too. You may have to wait until you can get a spot in the lot that allows you to park at the beach. But imagine without that pass you would be driving the streets endlessly in OCMD looking for a spot which is nearly impossible. The Ocean Pines beach club offers wonderful amenities and parking right there on the ocean for you. This is one of the major reasons my husband and I have chose to rent in the Pines for the last 4 years!!

Give this rental a shot and you won't be disappointed! Happy vacationing.

Great place for family or freinds

My family and I just rented this home for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was wonderful! What a great way to bring family together and have beach access. Totally would rent this home in the future. :) Thank you Jim and your family.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Not what expected

DO NOT rent this home if you like your privacy. When my family and I pulled up the neighbor came right out and watched us unload, was not even friendly and felt like we were being watched all weekend,blinds in kitchen and family room are see thru.Air can only be set to one degree and that did not cool off the house very well, for only being one story.Chilren were waking up in the middle of the night complaing they were hot.It took very long for the shower to even become warm and very low water pressure.comforters and couchs were stained,Grill was unbelievably dirty,pots and pans had to be rewashed before use.Found 2 ticks on children because there are many trees. Took parking pass to pool and beach waited in line for more than 45min because parking lot was full and when 1 car left 1 car could go in.Also when owner mailed me the key,I had to pay for his postage because he did not put enough stamps on and when I informed owner he did not offer to pay for stamp's.I was anxoius to get out of there. I do not recommend this property to anyone with familys,if you are in a wheelchair,etc.

As you can tell after arriving home after leaving my vacation rental they were more than happy with their stay. This negative review was spured on only after I informed them that we could not accomodate them next year because it was brought to my attention that THEY VIOLATED our NO PET POLICY and had a small dog at the house. While I am an animal lover and the dog did not damage anything at the home I cannot allow pets due to the fact that some potential guests could have pet allergies. Our no pet policy is clearly stated on the website and also in BOLD on the top bullet point of an information sheet that they received via e-mail and regular mail with the keys.

If anyone has any questions or would like further information on our vacation home I encourage you to contact me. I will be more than happy to talk to you about the property. I can also provide numerous guests that you could contact for an honest review of the property.
