Hip and bright two bedroom two bath 1/2 block from beach in Clearwater Beach

A great place to stay in residential North Clearwater beach (literally steps from the beach), while still being walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and Pier 60. This is a large (900 sq ft) two bedroom/two bathroom condominium with lanai, which is on the top floor of a small private 8-unit, impeccably maintained and landscaped building.  Surrounded by million dollar residences, you are in the best part of the beach, and are staying at one of the hipper condos on the beach.  See pictures.

For newcomers to the area, Clearwater Beack is considered one of the best beaches in the world.  It is well-known for its soft white sands and for Caladesi park, which is 3 miles north (walking distance) of this property and has great shelling, and turtle and dolphin watching.  The north part of the beach is very private and very clean, and unlike other parts, has wonderful dunes and is a great place to swim, kyack, walk, job, or just hang out.  Late afternoons have enough wind for some great kite-flying.  Evening sunsets sitting on the beach or at nearby beachside restaurants will complete a perfect day and make you wonder why you have to go back to your own home.  If you crave people and beach activities, a large public beach, with lifeguard, volleyball courts, and cabana rentals is less than a five minute walk south of this rental.

We live in Philadelphia PA area and this is our vacation home, but we have made arrangements for someone local to host your stay, and answer any questions or deal with any issues that you have while at the property.  As this is a vacation home, not a commercial unit, we ask that you refrain from smoking inside (you may always smoke on the lanai).  Also, not pets– condominium rules.

This is a 3rd floor walk-up, on a quiet dead-end street, which has direct access to the beach.  Ammenities include:

• Screened lanai
• Private, covered parking
• Sleeps 4 comfortably.  There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, and a full size bed in the 2nd bedroom.
• New air-conditioning, heater and water system, full size kitchen
• TV/cable/DVD and computer (Mac) with high speed internet access
• Common washer/dryer in building
• All linens, towels, and beach items are provided

Location, location, location....

• Condo is on the trolley line for travel all over the beach and mainland
• A public recreation center (including pool, tennic courts, and boat launch) is 3 blocks away (fees apply)
• 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport
• 30 minutes from Ibor city (well-known Tampa nightspot)
• 1.5 hours to Disney World, Universal Studios, and See World
• 30 minutes to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island (water park)

June through August rates: $600/week

September through November: $775/week

January through March: $1000/week

May, April and December: $1,500/week

Monthly rates are available upon request

These are flat rates.  Daily rates are available; however, a 4 day minimum rate will be applied (no exceptions).  No other fees will be applied except a $200 security deposit (fully refundable upon inspection) and a $100 cleaning fee (to ensure that the property is spotless for all)
