Close by is the Virginia Living Museum and the Virginia Marine Science Museum and Aquarium. Need a few hours away from the beach? Spend half a day fishing at Rudee's Inlet or shopping at near-by Lynnhaven Mall. Only one hour and a half away is historical Colonial Williamsburg with state theme park Busch Gardens as well as many store outlets. Along the boardwalk there are many free outdoor concerts around 17th street and many wonderful restaurants that offer an oceanfront view while you dine. Don't miss Mary's for Breakfast at 17th Street, three blocks from the oceanfront for a quaint, hometown feel.
