Wonderful time on Trout lake

I rarely write reviews , but in this case I wanted to make a exception . I booked the week in march 2011 for vacation the week of July , so I had slot of time to be worried as to whether I made the correct decision. But after my arrival at Bobs cottage on the lake all of my fears went away...all I can say is that this is a beautiful property , very well maintained and charming to boot. The owners made sure everything was in order for my families arrival , very clean , well supplied , little extras like directions and suggestions to local things to do. The cottage slept our group of 9 very comfortably , the deck is huge and looks out over trout lake which is a hidden gem itself. We made campfires very night , used the kayaks everyday , slept in the hammock and used the outside shower every morning. The cottage is situated perfectly between Boltons Landing and the village of Lake George and provides a great starting point for all of your adirondack adventures. But the best part of all of our excursions was returning to the cottage and just relaxing. So if you are considering this property , don't even wait ... Reserve your time now you will not be disappointed , Bob the owner is a great host and made sure everything was in line for me to provide my family a great experience ...we will without a doubt return to Bobs cottage on Trout Lake.
