Vacation Rental Description

Imagine sitting in a hot tub on the veranda of your penthouse, 
watching the glorious sunset, sipping a chilled drink with gentle 
ocean breezes caressing your skin. Ahhhh! 

You watch cruise ships depart for their next ports, dive boats head 
out for night dives. Music plays in the background as your cares 
melt away. The biggest decision you'll make tonight is where to eat 
dinner. 

As darkness falls, you reluctantly climb out of the hot tub, slide 
open the ceiling-high sliding glass doors, and pad softly into the 
coolness of the Great Room. You refresh your drink at the wet bar. 

You carry it to your suite, where the comfortable bed invites you to 
lay down for a few moments. Instead, you dress and think about what 
kind of food you're in the mood for.... 

Next morning, you wake up early, eager for your first dive trip or 
tour. You get your gear, head down the elevator and wait at your 
private boat dock to be picked up.... 

Hours later, you're back after a fabulous dive or tour. You rinse 
your gear, lock it up in the basement locker, and head upstairs to 
shower and have some lunch.... 

Later that afternoon, you put on your swim suit, grab beach towel 
and book and head for a shady lounge chair by the beach for your 
siesta....

group, and not feel like you're on top of each other? 

If so, come stay at Casa de la Luna Llena (House of the Full Moon), 
a spacious, diver-friendly penthouse where you will find the finest 
drift diving in the world! It doesn't get any better than this! 

Family reunions and wedding parties are also a favorite at the 
Penthouse. 

Casa de la Luna Llena is the penthouse (8th floor) in the  brand new 
gorgeous El Cantil Condominium Resort, located next door to the 
former Plaza Las Glorias (PLG). It sits two floors higher than the 
penthouse at PLG so your views are completely unobstructed to the 
south as well as to the west! Views across the island from the other 
suites and private balconies.

You are 3 blocks from San Miguel, Cozumel town, a 5 minute-walk to 
the shops along the ocean, or a 2-minute taxi ride to Centro, and 
yet you are far enough away from the tourist bustle to enjoy the 
quiet. Across teh street is the multiplex cinema and all the fast 
food restaurants for the kids. 

Unprecedented luxury in a building built to the highest quality 
standards. 

Your private, secure (French built) Otis elevator opens directly 
into the Casa through a custom 'Jaguar' security door. To your right 
is a commissioned waterfall created by famed artist Nayer Kazemi, 
which gives a soft, soothing sound throughout the Casa, whenever you 
chose to use it. Ahead is a breath-taking view across the Carribean 
Sea to Playa del Carmen and Xcaret through the floor-to-ceiling 
(8 foot high) sliding glass doors that cover the entire ocean side 
wall of the Great Room. All windows and sliding glass doors have 
screens and there are ceiling fans in every room should you prefer 
gentle breezes and the sound of the waves to air-conditioning (I 
do not usually use the A/C). 

As you enter the Great Room, you see custom shiny Ceramic white 
tile floors, striking carved wood, rattan, and leather furniture, 
comfortable sofas and chairs, lots of reading lights, a satellite-
TV, DVD/CD, and stereo with surround sound. Casa de la Luna 
Llena's 4212 sqft. gives ample room for everyone to find a special 
nook or room to socialize and party. It's perfect for large groups 
of friends or family. 

The dining table seats 10 comfortably in luxury. There is a wine 
refrigerator (perfect for beer!), barstools, a fully equipped 
kitchen with top-of-the-line GE Profile appliances, and various 
small appliances. At the trestle desk in the Great Room, you can 
write your memoirs or fill out your dive log, or write a great 
Penthouse review or travel story!. 

Four expansive suites each have their own private bath and balcony. 
The Owner's Suite has a built-in Kohler 2000 Body Environment / Spa 
(and a custom urinal for the discerning gentleman or if you just 
have a great sense of humor). One bedroom is even set up as a fully 
functioning office if you want to stay for extended periods. 

The Great Room and Office Suite have speed high DSL access. There is 
an additional pop-up elevated Queen sized guest bed that is very 
comfortable. The Casa sleeps 8 people easily (10 with the pop-up 
bed)—no tripping over each other and plenty of privacy. There is 
also a half-bath just off the elevator/foyer/waterfall area. On the 
800+ sqft. veranda is the hot tub (seats 6 to 8), chaise lounges, 
tables with chairs, glider and ottomans. The veranda wraps around 
the south side of the building so you have a panoramic view of the 
cruise ships going by, sailboats, Dolphins (the largest balconies in 
the building). 

Your elevator also takes you to the basement/garage, directly 
opposite the entrance to the beach and the 3 level pool. Tables with 
umbrellas and chairs, chaise lounges, palapas are on the beach and 
by the pool for your use anytime you like. 

There is a boat dock, dive rinse tanks; you will be picked up by any 
dive outfit or scuba/snorkel right off your private beach. Secure 
vented diving storage lockers are in the basement, so you don't have 
to cart your gear up and down. 

Across the street is Chedraui (a combination Costco, WalMart, 
Safeway, and Walgreen's), the local Cineplex and an Internet cafe if 
you leave your laptop behind. Bowling alley is another block away 
and there is much much more nearby.
Your fully equipped gourmet kitchen has deep serpentine green 
granite tops, custom maple cabinetry, and everything you need to 
create delicious meals, whether you or your private chef cooks (need 
advance notice 30 days). The Wynston Five star restaurant next door 
now will deliver their incredible cuisine directly to the Penthouse 
if you desire. 

If you want to explore fine dining, there are many excellent 
restaurants within blocks or short taxi ride away. 

If you want authentic local food, stroll down any of San Miguel's 
side streets or go to the Mercado. The people are all delightful and 
friendly. The culture is warm and inviting and safe. 

Your multilingual, full-time American management provides daily maid 
service and can arrange for any number of activities--day trips to 
Xcaret, Chichen Itza, renting a scooter or car, babysitters, even 
private chefs. 

We can answer any questions you have about diving in Cozumel. I 
have been diving for over 40 years starting with the gear J. Costeau 
used) and am a PADI master diver (and past Military Mark 5 Hard Hat 
Diver 2nd Class). Enjoying each dive as if it is my first dive, I 
spend as much time as I can in Cozumel. So whenever you're there 
[sigh], I'm jealous 'cause I'm not.

to Cancun or visit Xcaret which is the Mexican equivalent to 
Disneyland.
