Why rent a cabin 25 minutes out of town instead of a motel room in town? In a motel room you get a bed, a bath, and a view of the parking lot. The cabin gives you 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, loft, large kitchen, barbecue, balcony, 2 decks, 2 swings, your own flower garden and water fountain, plus magnificent views. The great room has 19 windows. In a motel in town you also get crowds, traffic, and noise. At the cabin you can hear a breeze blow through the tree tops. Motel accomodations for 6 people could cost $300 to $400 a night. The cabin costs $140 to $168 a night. You can even bring your dogs. And at 7,000' elevation, it's 20 degrees cooler here than in Phoenix.

Reservations may be cancelled at any time with full refund of the rental fee. The deposit will be refunded if the cabin can be re-rented for the same dates.

We call it a cabin only because it's in the pines. It's a year-round livable home.

Pets are OK, but smoking is not allowed inside the cabin. No more than 4 vehicles, and  no ATV's or trailers.

Rates will increase for reservations starting in 2010.
