Gorgeous Two Bedroom Patio Home in Tubac

The town home is located across the street from the tiny town of Tubac, which consists of boutiques, restaurants, art galleries and lots of visual candy. It is a perfect location for persons who want a quiet, calm, relaxing vacation - unless you like to stay fit by biking, hiking and exploring. The place is about a mile from a pool/hot tub which is very nice and heated all year. It is free to the renters. The area is absolutely beautiful, sunrise/sunset are always a show of color and design.. pink,orange,yellow clouds sketched across the mountain ranges that surround the community. The unit is decorated tastefully and all the necessities you need - high internet, cable tv, grills, and household basics. The two beds are comfortable as is the couch and other furnishings. It really felt like a home. The only negative experience was the price - which was very high comparatively speaking to surrounding properties, and it appears the extra money is just for the furnishings. The other "odd" thing was the antique vacuum cleaner did not effectively clean, so we had to buy one. The desert is dusty, but some more intense cleaning would be helpful, especially if you have allergies. Most folks would not notice it perhaps as much. The owners are nice and easy to communicate with and she was extremely helpful in answering any questions. We did some little town touring, hit the Tuscon gem show in feb (OMG - dont miss it, once in a lifetime experience), southwest Indian art fair at the university (incredible!!-bought beautiful art) - also in feb., a powwow in dec, the San Xavier mission, Nogales exploring, and rock hunting. We loved the deli in Green Valley along with the China View. We did not find any dining in Tubac area to go back a second time. Prices are fine, food is ok. I would highly recommend this property if you have any hesitations. This is our first time renting vacation property and are quite pleased that it turned out to be such a positive experience. If you are looking for young people excitement, this is not the place for you, but if you love beauty, peace, quiet, easy going vacation or an athlete who loves the outdoors - you will find heaven here in Tubac and the townhome will serve as your home of comfort.
