The Blue Heron on Copano Bay in Rockport

Hello, and welcome to the Blue Heron located in Holiday Beach on Copano Bay. Our home was built in 2004, and is located on a canal and just one street over from the bay side of Copano Bay. This area of the Texas Coast boasts the best fishing and bird watching in the nation. From the back deck you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the water fowl in the canal and in the estuary located just across the canal...

Too Hot for you in the morning? Just walk around the deck and enjoy the shade on the west side of the house and the scenic view of pristine Copano Bay....and whatever you do ...do not miss a single sunset from this deck in the evening...they are breathtaking.

 The Holiday Beach Community Pool opens for memorial Day weekend each year. The pool has had an amazing facelift last year. So come and enjoy. It is located across Hwy 35 directly across from our entrance.

The community offers three (3) private boat luanches, a private lighted fishing pier, (access with card key only) centrally located swimming pool, opens each year May 1st) and a fenced childrens play area.

Enjoy our 50ft boat dock with fish cleaning station on the canal. Unlike the bay side this canal offers a safe harbor for boats when storms come through. So bring your boat!!

What no boat? Well you can still enjoy fishing right from the dock in the canal or the community fishing pier on the bay side. ( we provide the access card key for entry)

We also provide an underwater green light for you night time fishermen and ladies.

Blue crabs and oysters are also available.

Home consists of two bedrooms. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. We also provide a queen sized Aero bed for youngsters and/or fisherman.

Spring 2011, we added a third bedroom with a queen bed and a half bath to our downstairs area.

You may rent our home as a two or three bedroom home, depending on your needs.

All towels, linens, blankets and pillows are provided....just bring your personnal things and start relaxing !

We also have two full bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. One is off the master bedroom and the other centrally located in the hallway.

The kitchen is equally equipped for the gourmet cook with top quality untensils and cookware....ever popular blender and even a rice cooker...toaster oven, microwave, stove/oven and dishwasher. We also have (2) refridgerator/freezers...with all the fish you will be catching you'll love the extra space to keep dinner fresh or freeze to take home!

Dining room will sit six people with room at the bar for two more. Gather your family and friends for mealtime or enjoy a good old game of Dominos, cards or other board games we have provided.

Living room provided for cable TV ( in the Master bedroom as well) stereo, and DVD player. We have a library of DVD of your enjoyment as well as a few second hand books.

The stereo is also wired so that music can be heard downstrairs in the carport....everyone wants tunes while they barbeque, visit with friends or just enjoy a cold drink while resting in the lounge chairs on a lazy afternoon.

We also have the yard completly fenced.

We provide ample outdoor lighting and labled the switches for you on the kitchen wall.

A one-time cleaning charge applies and is determined on the number of people renting. Call for the rate. All rental fees are subject to a 13% hotel tax.
