Completely remodeled two-story home on huge sandy-bottom lake (Lake Placid) with pristine white-sand beach and boathouse.  Completely furnished with beautiful linens, towels, dishes, TV, cable, WI-FI, etc.  No smoking/no pets please.

Lake Placid is well-known for boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, and golfing.  18-hole championship golf course just minutes away.  Small airfield nearby.

The home features a Master Suite on the first floor with a King Sized Bed, TV and DVD/VCR.  Dining Room table seats 12, there is also a game table and large screen TV and DVD VCR in the living room. Upstairs are four large bedrooms 3 with (2) twin beds and one king. There is also a roll away bed. We have 6 adrirondak charis and deck seating for 12 with three tables and an umbrella while you lounge in the hot tub all year long. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the lake.

Lake Placid is small but quaint and prides itself on it's hometown feel.   Area features lots of golf courses, lakes, parks, and is located about an hour and a half from either coast, Orlando attractions and Miami.  Another interesting feature is the hand-painted murals which adorn many of the downtown shops and restaurants (town is sometimes called the "Town of Murals" and also the "Caladium Capital of the World".  A festival dedicated to caladiums takes place twice a year in downtown Stuart Park and along the sidewalks of the town.  Lake Placid is the biggest grower of this tropical plant in the world.

Great Family Reunion-Excellent Stay

We had 12 of stay in this beautiful and well maintained home. There were 6 adults and 6 kids and everyone had a blast. We cooked meals in the beautiful kitchen that is equipped with every appliance including a blender for our margaritas that we took to the bar in the recreation room with the ping pong table. We enjoyed the huge lake, hot tub, jet skiing and the white sand crystal clear lake.
There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and a very large master downstairs. All the sheets, towels and toiletries were high quality. There is a HD flat screen TV in the living room with Wifi throughout the house. There were over 100 movies to watch and a lot of books and board games provided by the owner. The nice touches of the window treatments and new furniture and art gave it a very welcoming feeling.
The town of Lake Placid is quaint and fun and there were a lot of murals and quite little places to eat. However, We mostly stayed at the house and enjoyed the family time at the large dining room table that seats 12. There is also a game table that seats another 4 people. There was also an extra refrigerator in the laundry room to put extra beer and sodas. In addition to the central air conditioning there were also two extra units to keep the house nice and ice cold.
We have rented other homes in the past in the Keys and on the East and West Coat and this is the cleanest and nicest rental we have had. We are already booking our stay for next summer.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers
