Long Beach peninsula is located at the very south end of L.A. County as it borders Seal Beach. It is just a block from Alimitos Bay, (a mother and toddler beach) and across the bay from Naples and Belmont Shore, two very affluent neighborhoods. The peninsula is a 'private' residential beach, the best kept secret in L.A.No public transportation to it. Walk to trendy shops and pubs and restaurants in Belmont Shore, rent sailboats, join in races at the L.B. Sailing Center just down the street. Yet we are but 20 minutes to Disneyland,30-40 minutes to Beverly Hills and downtown L.A. Close to all major freeways and Long beach Airport, and 5 miles from revitalized downtown Long beach and more nightlife than Chicago.
