When we arrived and saw this neat looking house one block off the boardwalk, we were shocked. Went inside to see the cleanest and most wonderful beach flavor looking cottage. There was enough space to sleep 10 ppl and we were only 4! We needed absolutely nothing except food and bedding for the house. Everything you can possibly imagine was inside the kitchen for your use. Clean, clean clean is what impressed us so. Outdoor table and chairs, chairs for the beach included as well, beach umbrella, large spacious living room, dining area and kitchen and even a nautical bar. All the people that lived on this whole block were friendly and warm and acted like a family by the end of our week. Restaurants to the right, left and across the street. Good bagel store, great Italian restaurant, and other breakfast eateries within 1/2 block of the house. It is such a safe area all around that we were quite secure. Hats off to a great owner for being so helpful to us before our arrival and explaining everything we needed to know before we arrived. A detailed list of what we would need to bring and what he had in the house was so helpful.
I came home on Saturday and 2 days later he e mailed about returning my security. This is a great vacation for anyone on this street by the beach and boardwalk!!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car

This house is perfection on the beach! The A/C was great and needed for the humidity. The size was perfect for a family of 4! Plenty of space, not that we stayed in the house much-the beach is steps away and perfect! The included beach badges were a great plus. The outdoor shower was exquisite!!! We never used the inside shower-the bathroom was on the smaller size but adequate. The bedrooms were odd shaped and sloped but added to the cottage feel. The kitchen was splendid and included everything you would need to cook! The only negative is that the mattresses on the beds were very thin and uncomfortable-some of the beds seemed to be cots. A great bar was in the living room which added to the festive and relaxed atmosphere. Moments from the boardwalk and all of the fun but not so close to be a nuisance. This house is WONDERFUL and we stayed for two weeks.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car

Owners response: Mattresses are being replace for 2011.
