Mathews is a quiet Bay Town off the beaten path, approx. an hour half directly East of Richmond Va and about 40 minutes North of Yorktown. Most recently has become popular with kayakers, always enjoyed by fisherman and boaters. Pets are approved upon request.

This cottage is a great home base for touring the area. No beach, No Dock, but you can launch a kayak or sunfish right from the back yard, good views, deck with grill. More of a place to stay to explore the area versus a destination. Used as over flow for wedding guest etc.

You can launch kayak type boats right from the property, there is a state maintained boat ramp quarter mile away with a little resturant. We are about an hour to Colonial Williamsburg, 40 mintes to Yorktown, hour and 20 mintues to Va. Beach, hour and 15 minutes to Richmond.

Nightly is two night mininium, 2 night rate=$150 per, 3-6 nights $125 per night.
New on season rate is $700 per week.
Monthly rate is per request basis.
