Relax in this spacious, 3-level, new 2,800 sq. ft. 3 timber frame home. Set high up on 5 private acres with 270 degree mountain views from every room. The White Mountain National Forest surrounds the house and it's so quiet you can hear the lull of Razor Brook at the end of our cul de sac.

Enjoy a meal on the 16'x16' screened in porch, or stretch out in the sun on the deck or balcony. There is plenty of room in the open, bright Great Room (32'x16' kitchen/DR/LR) with dramatic cathedral ceilings.

The main level includes Master Bedroom with walk-in closet, glass doors opening to a deck, full bath with 2-person soaking tub and double headed shower. A seond bedroom sleeps 2 on bunk beds, has a large window seat and a full bath across the hall (a crib is available as well).

The loft area is perfect for watching a movie and/or sleeping extra people on the double futon and twin bed. The walk-out lower level features a quiet bedroom with 2 twin (or King) bed with private full bath and a huge multipurpose area including a pull out couch, perfect for a second family or room for children to play. Glass doors lead to the front yard.

Choosing a vacation rental from a website is difficult. But, once I spoke and exchanged emails with the home owner Deborah I felt wonderful about my choice for a vacation rental in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I can defiantly say that I'll be returning to this home again and in fact it's already in the planning stages. I'll be back in the fall and winter to the amazing mountain home. I feel so strongly about this home that I have put my name and phone number on the review. If you don't believe what you read call me and I'll tell how perfect this Mountain Retreat is! Thank you again for a wonderful memorable vacation in your stunning home.

Incredible Mountain Views

Incredible mountain views doesn't do justice for what this three level post and beam house with garage really has to offer.

Upon arriving we were simply blown away by the house. The pictures that are provided do no type of justice for what this house really offers. This wonderful quality built home sits high on a hill in a upscale neighborhood. And I use the word home because that's what we called after arriving. It really felt like our home away from home. This home is extremely clean and the no shoe policy was a big hit with everyone. Upon entering we would simply leave our shoes in the mud room or in the garage. That just shows the quality and details that the homeowner put into the wonderful home when building it. Everyone each morning woke up very rested from the comfortable beds. We would than sit in the kitchen and living room sipping coffee, eating breakfast and talking about the great time we had the night before. In the evenings we would sit around playing card games or just talking. We enjoyed the home so much most nights we stayed in because we felt no need to go else where. The fact the there is NO cable TV wasn't miss at all by anyone. But, I have to say a flat screen TV and DVD player would be a welcome addition to the living room there is a DVD player and small TV located upstairs. The driveway is steep and has a sharp turn but, the plowing service did fantastic job after receiving over 12" of snow. By the next day 4WD was no longer needed but I would still strongly recommend it. This home has every type of pot, pan and cooking utensil that we could think of. Each night we cooked elaborate gourmet meals on the gas stove and everything that we needed was within our reach.(It's great to have a chef as a friend) While eating we were able to listen to our favorite country songs on the wonderful stereo system with Ipod connection that filled the house with great music. This area of New Hampshire has so much to offer. We spent time at Attitash skiing, Nestlenook Farm ice skating and for the famous Sleigh Ride (this should not be missed by anyone), Bart's General Store for anything we ran out of (turns out the owners used to live on Long Island like us), Jackson Village is the prettiest New England Village town that I have ever come across and no trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire could be complete with out a drive up to The Mount Washington Hotel for a drink on the veranda.
