vacation rental description
If you want to escape the city and be in a lovely, serene place with a babbling brook 10 feet away from the back door, yet still be less than 5 minutes' walk away from great restaurants, boutiques and arts venues, this place is for you. Our charming , historic Woodstock cottage is just 5 minutes' walk from the NYC bus stop and the bustling village center, yet located on a peaceful back street with a stream running through the back yard -- the best of both worlds!
The large master bedroom has a king-size bed, fireplace with comfy chairs, and ensuite bathroom with Italian mosaic shower stall and clawfoot tub. The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The living room has a cathedral ceiling, skylights and French doors leading out to the stream. The second bathroom is a gem, with a clawfoot tub by a large window where you can sit and survey the garden. A cute second bedroom and roomy loft with a guest bed complete the picture. There's a large stone patio with BBQ and a landscaped garden where blue jays, herons and red cardinals visit. Wireless internet, TV/DVD (no cable, but we have a huge collection of movies). Great hiking, gourmet restaurants, swimming holes, arts festivals galore!
