activities and attractions in Mystic Connecticut
We are open year round as there are plenty of activities in Mystic for all seasons. Leave your car behind and walk to the wonderful restaurants and shops in the quaint downtown area or stroll the Mystic Seaport, a recreation of Old Mystic... a whaling community. Rent a kayak or rowboat and cruise the Mystic River. For those who want more entertainment the Foxwoods Resort Casino is a 10 minute drive....Mohegan Sun a 20 minute drive offering a wealth of night life.
This area is great for biking or just strolling. You will see many historic homes and beautiful gardens when moving at a slower place. With the church bells tolling and the train tooting in the distance, Mystic captures a very "Norman Rockwell-like" environment!
