Kidder's Kabins in Cayuga Lake

Kidder's Kabins are a cluster of four quaint cabins located directly on the shore of Cayuga Lake. We are located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and the Cayuga and Seneca Lake Wine Trails. Kidders Kabins are 18 miles north of Ithaca, NY. County Road 153 is one of the most scenic stretches of road along any of the Finger Lakes. Kidders is within walking distance of two restaurants, The Lighthouse and O'Malley's, and a long walk or short drive from Sheldrake Winery.

For this season, we currently have two cabins available for rental. There is a pavilion on site that is available to all renters. It has a sink, stove, gas grill and refrigerator, as well as picnic tables.

Cottages are generally rented from Saturday to the following Saturday. However, different accommodations can be made. Check is at 3 p.m., and checkout at 11 a.m.

All cabins come with linens, towels, dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Paper products are provided as well. Each cabin has a bathroom and a shower. Also, satellite television, coffee pots, refrigerators and microwaves are available in each of the cabins. A pavilion containing a stove and sink is available, and gas grills are provided.

In addition, there is a fire pit located by the lake with fire wood available. Our beach is handicap accessible, and has a boat launch as well. It very easy to use any type of boat : kayak, canoe or fishing boats amoung others. As well, our beach has very gentle incline to the shore, so children are able to swim, if supervision is available.

 
There is a local pizzeria and sub shop that will deliver. Also, the two restaurants located a short walk from the cabins will be open for business.

We are located on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, and the Seneca Lake Wine Trail is only a short 15 minute drive. As well, we are a 20 minute drive from the historic Ithaca, with its many shopping attractions. We are right outside of Trumansburg, NY, which is the home of Grassroots. It is a very scenic town.

We are located across the street from two different restaurants, and are a long walk or short drive from Sheldrake Winery.

There is a boat launch on site that is available to all renters.

Cabins One and Two, which are the only cabins currently available for the 2010 season, are $125 per night, or $550 per week. However, we are quickly booking for much of the summer, so please don't hesitate!
