Wonderful charming dog friendly retreat!

Review submitted: February 11, 2013   Date of arrival: January 2, 2013

I stayed at Piece of Heaven for almost a month with my two dogs. This is a fantastic place if you are looking for a quaint, off the beaten path, outdoorsy, and homey environment. Everything is set up with a full kitchen and bath, nice bedding and really all the comforts of home. A simply phenomenal alternative to a hotel room! There is a lovely 1/4 to 1/2 mile walk directly on oak creek just right outside the door. I went birding and walking with my dogs every morning. The location is fantastic as it's just within 2 miles of all the Page Springs Winieries and a host of Audubon sanctuaries. The owners are wonderful. They have a small orchard on the property along with a ton of art. They offer exclusive, private customized, outings in their Hummer too. I had an amazing Hopi cultural and shopping experience--completely eclectic and authentic. Very close to Sedona too. The hot tub is available seasonally.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Pleasant Stay.

Review submitted: August 11, 2012   Date of arrival: February 5, 2012

This property s a GREAT place to lodge at. THe cabins are beautiful, and the surrounding area has a magical feel to it. My wife and I spend our 5th anniversary hear this past February and the owner and staff are so down to earth, it just made our stay there that much more pleasing. I would have written this review sooner, but we had thought we lost the info needed to place it. I just happened to be going though some papers and I ran across the info for this web site. When I realized what I was holding, I immediately got to my lap top just to write this review. That goes to show you how highly I think of our stay here. My wife and I will definitely be back next year for our 6th anniversary. While we were here, I managed to do a little fishing at the river that runs along the property. I did manage to get one, but I ended up releasing it into the pond by the owners house. The only thing my wife and I regret is that we chose to come here at a time the wine orchard next to the property was out of season. If you are looking for a pleasant and peaceful place to stay, then look no further. You just found it.

Recommended for: families with young children, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Owners response: We enjoy our guests and look forward to seeing them again and again. We appreciate the kind words so many have for us. Chris and Jacquie
