Brief Description: This amazing home will impress the most discerning guests. It has all the luxurious amenities that you can imagine, yet is extremely comfortable. You will enjoy relaxing at this home so much that you won't want to leave!

Bedrooms and baths: There are three bedrooms and two and a half baths in this home. The master bedroom is very spacious and has a king size bed, large flat screen television, doors out to the spacious deck and a private bathroom. The walk-in bathroom has a beautifully tiled shower and the softest towels you can imagine! The second bedroom has a queen size bed, doors out to the deck area, and an attached bathroom with beautiful clawfoot tub and shower. This bathroom also adjoins the third bedroom, which is set up with another king size bed. There is a half bath out in the living area as well. Guests will sleep like royalty in this home, with the finest linens in all the bedrooms available for the ultimate sleeping pleasure.

Kitchen: This fully equipped kitchen has top of the line appliances and amenities. A gourmet gas range, huge stainless refrigerator plus multiple bar refrigerators and all of the possible cookware and serving ware is supplied. This kitchen will satisfy the most discerning chef you may happen to have in your group! There is also private catering available for those who are interested. Out on the deck you will find a gas barbecue grill and seating for those outdoor meals.

Dining area: Out in the great room is a gorgeous formal dining area that seats up to ten very comfortably, and can also fit an entire buffet spread down the middle of it if need be! A large custom, hand carved bar curves along the edge of the living and dining areas with plenty of bar stools for folks to hang out.

Living room: The living area's focal point is the jaw dropping, castle style fireplace. A huge and ornate wrought iron gate opens up for you to tend the fire and lends a unique character to the design of the room. Cozy leather couches and chairs let you sink in to enjoy the fire, or, have a movie evening watching the large flat screen television. Off to the side of the great room is a full size pool table to keep everyone entertained. For those interested in a quieter game, try a round of chess in the corner nook.

What's included: You’ll receive a complimentary security deposit waiver so you don’t have to pay a security deposit. Your home is completely prepped before you arrive and fully cleaned after your stay – at no charge to you. For guests who stay twelve nights or more, a weekly cleaning is also included. Additional housekeeping can all be arranged with a bit of prior notice. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, include good quality bed and bath linens, staples like paper goods, laundry and dish washing supplies, and our signature Mountain Home hand soaps. You just bring your gear and the groceries!

Other details: To ensure that all of our homes are maintained to the highest standards for our guests, no smoking is allowed in any of our homes and no pets are allowed on our properties without prior written approval from Mountain Home.

Setting, acreage, views: Lodge at Shadow Wood is located on 20 private acres located up Rock Creek Canyon, off the Paradise Valley, adjoining another 25 acres of forest service land. There is one other home that shares the same driveway, but the home itself is well out of sight and sound. The home is just 2.5 miles from the Yellowstone River, and about 20 minutes from Yellowstone Park. (Please note, for Summer 08 guests, there is a road detour because of bridge construction, so the drive to Yellowstone is about 40 minutes this summer). Enormous decks on both sides of the home allow you to enjoy mountain views, or forested views. Wildlife visitors guaranteed!!

Activities nearby: Besides incredible hiking opportunities farther up the canyon, there is fishing on the Yellowstone River just minutes away. Guests can also spend time enjoying great cross country skiing or snowshoeing, horseback riding, rafting, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Livingston and Gardiner have to offer.

Closest town and airport: It's about twenty minutes to Gardiner, Livingston is about forty-five minutes away. Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport is a 1.5 hour drive from the home.
