On the Water!!  Breathtaking 180-degree views of the sparkling sea and the soaring Ko'olau Mountains.  The living room, bedroom and 30 foot long lanai all overlook the view of the water and mountains where Jurassic Park was filmed.  Enjoy an early morning sunrise and some spectacular sunsets over the mountains.

The Waterfront Fern has 1500 square feet of interior space.  There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and 2 queens and 1 twin in the back bedroom.  The kitchen is small but well equiped and you have access to a laundry room as well.

Tranquility


Awaken to the cooing of doves and the rustle of the wind in the golden bamboo grove and in the coconut palms.  Relax on the lanai and enjoy the serenity of paradise on the water.  Located near 3 major "highways" makes the airport, Pearl Harbor, Honolulu and Waikiki just a 20-25 minute drive.  The location makes it easy for you to get around the island but you will always be glad to "come home" to the serenity that naure provides.

The back yard of the house has a large, tropically landscaped garden with coconuts, papayas and passion fruit when in season.

Beaches

Kailua Beach, a 3 mile long white sand beach is just a 7 minute drive from the house.  Rated the best beach in the country, this beach is safe for swimmers of all ages.  Enjoy an early morning stroll to watch the sunrise or an evening walk to see the full moon rise over the horizon.  Also a great beach for boogie boarding, kayaking, kite suring, wind surfing and paddle boarding.  We provide beach towels, chairs, coolers, toys, mats and boogie boards.

Kayaking

Launch the two 2-person kayaks from the back yard of the house.  Paddle out to Coconut Island where the t.v. show, Gilligan's island was filmed.  Around the shoreline of the bay, going out for about 50 yards, the water is only knee to waist deep.  On calm days it is easy to see the bays seabed, the corals, the fish and various other marine life.  You may also swim, snorkel and fish in the bay.

Also, $100 cleaning fee and 13.96% taxes apply.  A refundable $200 security deposit is due when reserving the unit.  The security deposit covers major damage, major dirt and running the A/C with the doors and windows open or while you are not in the unit.
