Our immaculate home is a five minute WALK to ECHO LAKE, 5 minute drive to CRANMORE coaster short distance to STORYLAND!!!!!- 3 minutes to North Conway village shops & scenic train railway. WALK TO ECHO LAKE. Extremely quiet location near everything but not remote. Easy bike ride to fabulous village shops or Dianna's baths waterfalls. Strawberry picking is literally around the corner...pick your own-

We are on the edge of the White Mountain National forest where you can mountain bike or hike the trails right in our back yard ( Echo Lake Woods). This location is an athletes dream! Echo Lake in summer is a MAGICAL place to spend family time as you watch the climbers scale the majestic cliffs of the ledges you get to swim in a beautiful clean sandy bottom lake with clean and un-crowded beaches.

Walk to: Echo Lake State Park (5 minutes)-
This park sits on pristine Echo Lake with visitor areas that offer swimming and fishing. In addition, hiking trails and a scenic drive lead to Cathedral Ledge.

Diana's Baths is one quarter mile away and offers wonderful hiking and fantastic BLACKBERRY picking in late summer! This is one of the most romantic places in the world. The water supply for the area is located above this waterfall, but the collection of waterfalls and pools offers the perfect place to relax, reflect and cool off. You'll need to hike about a half-mile, following a well-marked trail, to find this special place found off the northern side of West Side Road amidst charming farm fields.

Jackson Falls: The locals head to Jackson Falls on hot summer days. Easily accessible, you'll find wonderful pools and small, cooling falls under which to drench yourself. A few picnic tables nearby offer the perfect spot for lunch, dinner or a cocktail to toast a successful fun gathering. Don't miss the Saturday ORGANIC FARMERS MARKETS filled with EPICURIEN DELIGHTS. 
Directions: Take Carter Notch Road about 3/10 of a mile from Route 16A in Jackson.

One of our favorite things to do with our grandkids are visits to the COG RAILROAD in Mount Washington...the children of all ages love it!

My past guests continuously rave about this location over and over! You can bike to North Conway village or even walk. Cross-country ski from the door in winter; rock climb at Cathedral and White horse ledge which can be seen from the front yard.

We also love the Mount Washington Theatre Company at the Eastern Slope Plaza only two miles away just off River Road. They have great children's theatre on Friday at 9am and 10:30 for around $7 for kids and adults. Enjoy the free lemonade and bubble blowing before the show and after meet the live performers for a post show autographs. They have plays such as Peter and the Wolf, Jack and the Beanstalk etc.
