A good place to stay

Our family of five recently went to New-Brunswick for the first time. We were quite satisfied when we arrived at our location. There is a lot of place, the beds were confortable, the house was clean. We felt right at home. Except that there we had a view to the water! It was beautiful.

We went to the Parlee Beach, which is a wonderful beach. We hope to return, maybe next summer. We also went to Magnetic Hill Zoo, and Magic Mountain, then to the mini-golf that is just next to it,in Moncton. We were surprised to see how affordable it all was, and fun too.

The only negative points I find is : at the home, even if there were beds for everyone, and couches for everyone in the living room, there was not enough place at the kitchen table for everyone at the same time;in Moncton, I didn't find good restaurants or a big grocery. Maybe I didn't look at the right places.

All in all, we were quite happy with our location, a good place to stay at a reasonable price. And we were quite happy with our activities too, except for the food.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing

We rented this house for three couples and a teen to go to the Atlantic Nationals carshow in Moncton. Wanting to be out of the city, this setting was perfect for us. There was plenty of room in the house to sleep 7, the view was gorgeous, and the house was immaculately kept. The owner was more than accomodating and very helpful, even sending us the weather expected for our trip. I would not recommend it for travelers without a car, or who want to be busy every minute, but for us, we had a great place to retire to, a barbeque for grilling, and a number of beaches very close by, a rock beach and several sandy beaches with sandbars so you could walk out a long distance. The ocean water is very warm and welcoming here. We all would stay there again in a minute!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway
