Wonderful family beachhouse-5bedroom/3 bath right on beach in Fernandina Beach

This house offers quaint Florida beach charm along with the most perfect beach location - literally just a few steps from the deck to the sand!

 This house is the perfect 2 story house for both small and large groups - the main floor has a nice kitchen with breakfast bar and bar stools, also kitchen table for sit down meals - washer/dryer are also located in a corner of the kitchen and there is a full bathroom here too.

The family room is light and bright with 2 sets of sliding doors - one leading on to the side deck and the other set leading on to the main deck and beach.
Sink into the comfy sofas and get a break from the hot sun - watch tv on the flatscreen - or maybe plug in your Ipod and listen to music while playing some board games. 
Three bedrooms lead off the living area - the master bedroom has a queen bed with memory foam mattress and flatscreen TV and an adjoining bathroom; then there is another queen bedroom and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. All bathrooms in this house have showers only.

If you are a larger group then you will also want to rent the lower level - there are no internal stairs in this house - you do have to go outside to access the lower level.  Downstairs is also light and bright and has another small kitchen, a large living area perfect for all the kids to sit and play or watch tv on a rainy day and 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom.  You have the convenience of a second washer/dryer on this level and a full bathroom and there is also a sleeper sofa. So each level can sleep a maximum of 6 people.
Downstairs there is a glass sliding door leading on to the small covered deck area - this is also where the outside shower is.  To reach the upper level you just have to go up the outdoor steps to the upper deck.

There is a separate climate control for each level.

Linens and towels are not provided with the house - however they can be included for an additional fee.

This house is not close to public parking, so the beach is never crowded here.  After a complete beach renourishment last year, there is lots of room to spread out even at high tide. 

The historic downtown is less than 10 minutes away - there you will find wonderful restaurants, inviting ice cream stores, fascinating stores to browse through and a beautiful marina where you can see many boats coming and going - be there in the afternoon and watch the charter fishing boats unload their catch.

Well behaved pets are permitted for an additional fee - there is a city leash law and litter pick up law that we respectfully ask that you strictly adhere to - fines are imposed for littering the beach.

It is possible to rent the main floor only of this house - call for those rates.  This does not apply to High Season between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
