4 Star Condo in Silver Mill

We rate all of our condos based on four criteria in order to make it easier for vacationers to compare different condos in different buildings.  The criteria are as follows: unit size and quality, views, proximity to activities, and building amenities and quality.

Unit Size and Quality:****(4 Stars) This condo is a top floor unit with vaulted ceilings.  The oversized master bedroom is spacious and features a queen sized bed that was replaced in Summer of 2009, cable TV, and plenty of extra space to spread out.  The full kitchen comes equipped with all of the essentials to cook a meal including pots, pans, plates, glasses, & silverware.  You will also find a crockpot, blender, toaster and coffee maker in the kitchen.  The living room has a broyhill sleeper sofa and chair, gas fireplace, and TV with dvd/vhs player, so you can relax comfortably after a day of activities in Keystone.  The dining room table with comfortably seat 4 people, and the full bathroom comes with a generous supply of towels for your use during your stay.  In the bedroom closet, you will find a pack-n-play, lightweight stroller, extra pillows and blankets, sheets for the sleeper sofa, a humidifier, fan, and safe to secure your important documents and items.  Free WIFI is included with this unit, so don't pay $4.95 an hour or $9.95 per day extra when you stay in other condos.

View ***(3 stars)  This condo looks away from River Run Village with mountain views in the distance, so you will have quiet enjoyment when you stay here.

Proximity to Activities *****(5 Stars)  Silver Mill is conveniently located in the heart of River Run Village. It is just steps from restaurants, ski rental shops, specialty shops, and Starbucks. If you are traveling with young children, the Keystone Children's Center is located on the ground floor of Silver Mill. In 2008, a new high-speed, 8 person gondola was constructed to move passengers up the mountain 40% faster. Silver Mill is now even closer than before. Walk 100 yards out of the building, and you will be there.

Building Quality and Amenities *****(5 Stars) After a long, active day, you can enjoy the many amenities that Silver Mill has to offer. The beautiful recreation room has a pool table, sitting area, and TV. Soak your tired muscles in the large 16 person hot tub, or one of the two 8 person hot tubs. Then enjoy the sauna located inside the building near the hot tubs. Silver Mill guests can also enjoy the heated pool with spectacular views of the ski slopes at a neighboring building.

You can park your car in the heated parking garage under the building and store your skis and/or snowboards in the ski lockers on the 1st floor. If you don't wish to carry your skis and/or snowboards back to the building you can use the VIP ski check that is available near the gondola for a small daily fee.

Don't rent other condos that charge $4.95 per hour or $9.95 per day for Wi-Fi. This condo has free Wi-Fi.

Guest Services: This unit is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats. We are the most guest oriented and down to earth company in the area. It is our goal for you to have a worry free stay and enable you to interact with caring and competent people who want your vacation to be all it can be. Special services that we offer include fast check-in service, flexible check-in and out times, a generous amount of towels during your stay, trash bags, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), dishwashing detergent and liquid, sponge for washing dishes, trial sized soap and shampoo. We send you keycards in the mail, so you can drive directly into the private parking garage and immediately enter your condo. Additionally, we are constantly looking for discounts and great deals for vacationers. We provide our guests extensive information about the area, great places to eat, discounts on equipment rentals, discounts on lift tickets and other information that we believe will help make your stay most enjoyable. In the unlikely event of a problem, we offer 24 hour maintenance service and lockout service. Our company goal is to maximize our client’s economic returns by exceeding guest expectations so that you will think of us first when you want to reserve your next vacation.

Keystone Summer Events:

1. Keystone has many summer festivals for you to enjoy that are located just steps from the condo. Some of them include the World Music Festival (June 27), Frontier Fair and July 4 celebration (July 4), Uncorked Wine Festival (July 11-12), Bluegrass and Beer Festival (August 1-2), and the Blues Festival and Art Show (August 22-23).

2. Weekly events for kids and adults like Kids Discovery Days (every Tuesday from June 23-August 11), Family Fun Night with bounce houses for the kids, a dance performance, and carnival games (every Wednesday from July 1- July 29), and The Ant and The Grasshopper Theatre Production at the ampitheatre in River Run Village (every Friday from July 3-Aug 21).

3. Enjoy the following tours: Mine Tours, Historical Bus Tour, ATV tours, Four-wheel drive tours.

4. Take a scenic chair lift to the top of the mountain and enjoy a picnic.

5. Play miniature golf. It is a short 2 minute walk from Silver Mill.

6. Enjoy two championship golf courses.

7. Bike with the family on the bike trails or try downhill mountain biking.

8. Take a guided hike with a guide that will tell you about local animals, plants, wildlife, and history.

9. Other summer activities include boating, fly fishing, and rafting. These activities can be scheduled off the resort, but they are very close by.

Sales tax is 5.775% sales tax, and the cleaning fee is $65.
