I very much enjoyed my stay at the Barbizon. Although located at the south end of South Beach, it was within easy walking distance of everything in South Beach as well as South Point. The unit itself was very nice, had internet access, plenty of bedding and towels. It was as nice as when I stayed at the Cardozo Hotel. Like most places in SB, there was a restaurant located at the facility, but noise was not an issue. The "only" downside, and this is true of many facilities in South Beach, is that the floor is a hard surface, not carpeted. Which means, there are times when you can hear people walking around in the unit above. Not a big deal, just be aware.

I recently stayed at the Barbizon Condominiums. This building and the rental unit was perfectly located at 6th St. and Ocean Dr. which was within walking distance to the beach, retail stores, restaurants, and of course the nightlife! This location was not overwhelmed with noise yet easily accessible to all of the attractions. The owners were welcoming and very hospitable. The unit was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette could be updated but otherwise, it was great. I look forward to staying again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
