The two and a half mile long Ocean City Boardwalk will provide you
with the opportunity for exercise should you want to walk, jog or
ride a bicycle on the boardwalk. The Boardwalk will also provide you

Beach, Dolly's Taffy and candy, etc. etc. etc.

Not bad, could use some attention to detail...

This was the first time we stayed in such a large condo, not sure if I would do it again. The Golden Sands has lots of amenities that's for sure. The worst part is the move-in and move-out days which are from Friday to Monday. The elevator gets so backed up with people and their carts! Saturday is by far the worst of the four days. We were to leave on Saturday but choose to leave Friday afternoon in stead. The elevator waiting areas are not air conditioned, the main lobby is tho. It was extremely hot and humid when we were there so if you got all dressed up to go out by the time you got the elevator you may have needed another shower. There are stairs you can use but the smell is horrible, between the garbage shoot and body order don't attempt, we only made it two floors and that was holding my towel over my nose (not air conditioned either)!

The parking spot for this condo was not ideal either. It was right where people load and unload their cars. There was also a cement column you need to park between. At least it was in the garage area which kept the car cooler than being out front in the direct sun.

The condo itself was very nice. It was clean and had a great view. The A/C worked great in the main living area but the bedroom just didn't get cool enough. A fan would have been nice to help pull the air into the room. The bed was a little hard.

The kitchen only had 4 forks/spoons/knives, which I think is ridiculous. I'm sure they do that because it's only for four person max. A full set of cutlery would be nice. Also there are really no storage containers, so if you make macaroni, potato or pasta salad you really only have one bowl to keep it in. We also wanted to make pancakes for breakfast but the non-stick large pan was all scratched up and I wasn't about to use that.

The bathroom was nice and the shower worked great! I worry that some rentals will have poor pressure but this shower worked well for such a large condo.

Overall our stay was good and I'd recommend it to others but the kitchen could use some attention. Also a fan left there in the closet can make the bedroom a little more cooler.

The owner was very nice and even allowed us to get in on Friday since it wasn't rented the previous week. He was very accommodating.

Owners response: Thank you for your feedback. I personally do not use the condominium so I was not aware of the concerns noted. I will take action to correct the concerns that I have control over. Yes it is a large complex and check in and check out is a concern I have no control over. You did pick one of the hotest weeks with high humidity which made for great beach time. Again, thank you for the feed back without which I would not have been aware of the concerns.
