The Jeffersonian in Jeffersonville

The Jeffersonian Bed & Breakfast is located in the western heart of the
Catskill Mountains. Situated just at the edge of “downtown” Jeffersonville, our historic house was built by the town doctor in 1922. We are within easy
walking distance of shops and restaurants and only 8 miles from the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (original site of the Woodstock Festival).

Large backyard and side porch for relaxing.  The whole house can be rented for a large group or family gathering.  The house has 3 stories with the 3rd floor having a game room with a 1919 antique pool and billiards table. Great house to spend the  holiday's in with the family. Very large formal dining room and living room with plenty of space for entertaining.

The activities are endless in Jeffersonville and the surrounding areas... from quiet relaxing walks, hikes, biking or driving on our beautiful back roads in all four seasons to fishing and fly fishing many of the local NYS accesses along State Route 52 and other areas. Visit the local farmers markets to buy local wine, fresh cheeses and produce... perfect to pack and head over to the historical stone arch bridge park for a picnic while taking in the fresh mountain air.

On hot summer days enjoy swimming at a local state park or kayaking, canoeing or tubing down the Delaware River. During the week, pack a blanket and catch great music at a local bandstand just a few miles away. Visit the only hydro-powered radio station in the country right here in Jeffersonville.

If golfing is your way of relaxing there are 5 courses for you to enjoy around the area. Need some pampering? You can make appointments with a local spa or a massage. There are also museums, eagle watching, flea markets, antiquing, art galleries, unique shops, music festivals and country festivals to enjoy. You can also take a driving tour and visit our local potters and antique shops, trail maps are available.

In the evening, dine at one of many restaurants or pubs in the area. Enjoy watching a movie just a few miles away at a charming 1940s movie theater. We also have schedules for operettas and performances in the area.

The Weekend of Chamber Music has made its home in Jeffersonville recently and we are located only 8 miles from the new Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
