* Other lakes in the area include Nottley, Burton, Hiawassee, Rabun, and more.
* Golfing at Brasstown Valley and Blue Ridge Golf Club.

* Fun World in Hiawassee is a great place for kids of all ages to ride go carts, play video games, indoor miniature golf, laser tag, jumping area, baseball cages, etc. all for one price. Plus their is a nice movie theater there too.
* Great motorcycle and bike riding throughout the North Georgia Mountain area.
* Baptist, Methodist, Church of Christ, Catholic, and most denomination churhes available in the area.
* Great restaurants to chose from and other alternates including Indigo Hills which offers gourmet meals already prepared to just heat and eat in your cabin. Also, Chef Douglas with Cabin Cuisine will prepare an excellant meal in your cabin or prepare several meals to heat and eat later.

Northwoods Lodge is located just 90 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia. Surrounded by U.S. National Forest land and located near Lake Blue Ridge and a short drive to Lake Nottley. Our cabin is a great escape in the mountains but has all the luxuries of home including a fully equipped kitchen, 50 inch big screen TV with surround sound, new rustic décor, a private 6 person hot tub on the porch, pool table, private master bedroom with a sun room and jacuzzi tub, a beautiful mountain view, and much more.

The cabin is furnished with family friendly items to make your visit comfortable and fun for children. We have a Brio train set and table, Old Fashioned Hockey table, air hockey table, games, movies, Pak-N-Play portable play area/bed, toys, chairs, and other necessities for young children.

Our cabin is built with beautiful logs and stacked rock on the exterior and is all wood on the inside including cedar walls and hardwood floors. One of the most charming features is the wood burning fireplace in the family room and we furnish the wood. The cabin is well lit by lots of windows including two story windows in the family room and a sun room off of the master bedroom.

The bedrooms both have comfortable queen size beds and the family room has a leather sofa that converts to a queen size bed as well. The cabin also has satellite TV with VCR and DVD in the family room and master bedroom. In addition, the cabin has a washer and dryer for your convenience. Our newest addition is high speed wireless or plug in internet service.

Also, the cabin is located near Helen, Hiawassee, Young Harris, Dahlonaga, Epworth, Mineral Bluff, McCaysville, Copper Hill TN, etc. Of course, there is nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub or rocking on the back porch and watching the sun set behind a beautiful view of the mountains. Standard rate per night is $150 and $900 weekly.    Holidays rates vary and require 3 or 4 night minimum stay.   Special rates apply depending on the season and are typically adverstised in "Deals" on Vacationrentals.com     Please contact owner for rates on any dates you are intested.   Thanks for considering our cabin.
