Welcome to Willowbend one of our 2 homes in the Rumbling Bald Resort, a family vacation destination in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. At this vacation/ weekend getaway destination, you can play at 2 championship golf courses, play tennis, sunbathe on an uncrowded beach, or swim in the pool with a zero entry and lazy river. Take a romantic Lake Lure cruise and enjoy the fabulous scenery or rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the lake at your leisure, Hike the nearby mountains or exercise in the fitness center. Willowbend, a short walk to the Apple Valley Golf Course and pool, is comfortable for a large family with guests or two families. There is plenty for the kids to do!! The location is secluded, but still close to all resort activities. Our home is furnished to a high standard. The kichen is well stocked with plenty of crockery and silverware and dishes. our king, queen and twin beds are comfortable along with designer bedding. The den downstairs has its own bed/bath ensuite and a comfortale lounge area with TV/VCR We have a large screened porch in the back for casual dining and a bbq and a backyard picnic and play area. Choose a movie from our DVD library while the children play ping pong or practice putting. Enjoy dinner at the restaurant at Rumbling Bald whilst enjoying truly scenic views of the Lake from its elevated position. After dinner enjoy a drink on the front porch, with cooling ceiling fans whilst listening to the abundant sounds of the mounains. A great place to relax and have fun!

Our four bedroom 3 1/2 bath home has a master bedroom with a jacuzzi and the second king bedroom has a private deck. There is a screened porch off the kitchen along with a bbq for grilling. The huge garage has a ;playroom with tabletennis table. The yard has a picnic area and a firepit.
