Bald Mountain Lake Lodge in Lake Lure

Lakefront family lodge on Bald Mountain Lake.  This rustic elegant home has all modern conveniences with large family kitchen and dining featuring top of the line appliances, a well equipped kitchen, living room with stone fireplace, screen porch, large den on lower level with stone fireplace, kids bunk and billard room with half bath.  Each of the four master suites also have a private bath and two of the smaller bedrooms share a bath.  There are two half baths.  The water side of the home has a large outdoor stone patio with a covered outdoor cookcenter that is equipped with both a charcoal and gas grill as well as an outdoor sink.  Canoes, kayaks, and floaties are provided for guests enjoyment.  A pontoon boat to use on larger Lake Lure is also available from Memorial Day to November 15th.

The outdoor patio is home to a hot tub and wonderful log adirondak chairs centered around a fire pit.  Just a few steps and you are lakefront with canoes, kayaks and great fishing at your fingertips.  The large dock is wonderful for sunbathing, as a swim platform or for just lounging.  Resort amenities include golf on two 18-hole championship courses, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, miniture golf, and several terriffic restaurants! Four television sets with DVD are available throughout the lodge. Free high-speed wireless Internet is provided!

Chimney Rock State Park and the quaint village of Chimney Rock is about a 15 minute drive.  Good lakeside restaurants.  Lots of Hiking and mountain biking trails available.  Gem mining close by. Biltmore Estate in Asheville is about a 45 minute drive.  Downtown Rutherford and Hendersonville are less than 40 minutes away.
