This home is centrally located for accessing many popular destination areas of the greater Puget Sound!  Nearby areas include Seattle, ( 20 min by ferry), Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo, and a number of popular destinations along the Hood Canal and on the peninsula. Feels Like a Retreat...with Sound Views
This home feels like a retreat!  In a tranquil and private setting, relax and watch the boats go by as you take in the views of the sound, Blake Island, Mt. Rainier, and the stunning by night,  cityscape of Seattle. 

There's a camp fire area with contained fire pit, badmitton set, and enough room to set up a tent for the kids on  a warm summer night.

Wi-Fi and large tv/ rec room downstairs for kicking back.

Manchester...
Approximately four or five blocks north is the heart of the quaint town of Manchester.  You will find a small park on the waterfront, with a delightful sandy beach, boat launch & dock,and incredible views of Seattle's Skyline, downtown skyscrapers, and the Space Needle.  World class golf courses are a mere 15-20 minutes away in either direction.  Manchester State Park, 2 miles away, is known for scuba diving, trails, and breathtaking sound views-a must see for birdwatchers and nature lovers, alike!

Gig Harbor is approx. 15 min. drive away, Tacoma 25 min, Bremerton 15 min, & Belfair and Silverdale approx. 20 min., Poulsbo 35 min, and Bainbridge 45 minutes, Port Townsend 55+ min, Port Angeles 1 hr & 30 min.  Seattle is 20-40 min by ferry boat, via the Southworth Ferry, just ten minutes drive.  Seattle ferry boat from Southworth dock to Fauntleroy dock ranges from direct approx. 20 min- 45 min, non direct route.

Waterfront & Downtown Port Orchard...

Along the waterfront and downtown Port Orchard, you will find the Bremerton foot ferry, a marina &  charming waterfront park adjacent to the weekend Farmers Market.  There are many pleasant shops & restaurants along Bay Street, including the Historic Orchard Theater, Puget Sound Wine Cellar featuring a selection of regional & local wines, & outdoor sporting goods next door for your boating and fishing gear.
