Located in lovely Leelanau county, The Lake House has private frontage on Lake Leelanau, just 10 minutes from Traverse City or Suttons Bay. You are surrounded by many quaint villages-- Leland, Glen Arbor, Lake Leelanau, Empire, Northport and Cedar, to name a few. The beautiful countryside is dotted with cherry and apple orchards, wineries, golf courses, wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and many unique shops. There are casinos, hiking trails, concerts, charter fishing on Lake Michigan and marinas. In addition to the National Cherry Festival and Traverse City Film Festival, there are many smaller local festivals, throughout the summer . Maybe you would be interested in watching the TC Beach Bums minor league baseball team in action, attending a production at the Old Town Playhouse, a live concert at Interlochen Arts Academy, or just relax your vacation away, on the lake ,with a good book.
