Welcome to Pradise on Parade --an upscale and New Vacation Home with Gulf and Bay views located on South Padre Island, Texas.  This 2700 sq. ft. home is located on the Gulf side in a quiet area away from the busy Hotels.  The beach is a few steps away with an access at the end of the street.  Our beach has just been replenished and is in excellent condition for swimming, wind-surfing, or simply relaxing with a good book.  It is 4.2 miles, a wonderful beach walk, to the Jetties on the southern tip of the Island to watch the Dolphin's play.  Paradiso sull Parata is the perfect house for your next beach vacation.  There are 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms allowing the house to easily accommodate 8 guests.  A private elevator makes it easy to access all three levels.  The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.  There is a dual door refregerator with an ice-maker, a stove, oven and microwave.  the Dining Room has a large dining table that can seat 6 with seating for 3 more at the granite island  counter.  So, whether you choose to dine at one of the conveniently located restaurants (Parrot Eyes recently opened 1 blk north), or cook at home, Paradiso sulla Parata provides everything you need.  The fenced and gated backyard is perfect for families with children and the large balcony lets you see everything including beautiful South Padre sunsets.  The king Master Bedroom has a private balcony on the 3rd level.  The 1st floor bedrooms also have private patios.  For your convenience there is a wet bar by the 2nd floor balcony.

This was my family's first stay in South Padre and of course I was concerned about getting a place that would meet our standards. This home and its owners exceeded our expectations. Debbie and Larry were very hospitable and helped with any concerns we had. The house is very clean, spacious and stylish. The elevator is a tremendous help with groceries and luggage. Outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing after a day at the beach. Kitchen is equipped with everythiing you need for cooking. We will definately make this our regular place to stay when we visit again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

What an amazing property!!! As other reviewers have noted, the pictures here don't do this home any justice. But trust me, once you stay, you'll be taking pictures of it. Absolutely beautiful property designed by the owner!

Speaking of the owners: as gracious as can be! From the time we arrived to the time we left, nothing but good ol' southern hospitality. Saw Debbie walking the dog and she waved like she was just one of the neighbors. Really made you feel like you're at home.

Now about the property. First off, VERY close to the beach. Don''t let a Google map fool you. There's a beach access point within a 2 minute walk from the home. The two 1st floor bedrooms were the perfect size for our kids. Love the sinks in the bathrooms! On the 2nd floor, beautiful living room area and kitchen. The kids loved hanging out at the kitchen. In fact, they mostly ate on the island because it's HUGE. The washer and dryer were handy and we loved hanging out on the balconies located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The elevator was a FANTASTIC addition, really helped out a lot with groceries and luggage. And the master suite is GORGEOUS!! The bathroom alone rivals many 5-star hotels.

But to me, it's the little things that make a difference and that is where this property really shines. First, the instant hot water is a fantastic touch. You don't appreciate it until your whole family's trying to shower down at the SAME TIME after a long day at Schlitterbahn or the beach. A normal tank water heater probably couldn't handle that demand but this water heater handled it just fine. Second, the water softener. Living in Texas, you know about hard water, so it's nice after hanging out at the beach all day, you can take a shower and not be as dry as sandpaper when you come out. Again, a few small touches, but loved them!

We had never rented a vacation home before, but Larry and Debbie made the experience easy and care-free. Thank you Larry and Debbie for your graciousness and we HIGHLY recommend this home when you come to South Padre. We'll be back, that's for sure!

European at its best!

We were totally impressed with this property and appreciated the clean simplicity of the home furnishings making it easy to maintain while we vacationed. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating in the spacious dining area. Cooking nightly was our priority and would recommend if you plan to do the same, to bring along a few of your favorite pots and pans from home since those were limited. Toaster and coffee pot were provided. From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us and was gracious and accommodating as if we were her own personal guests. She toured us upon arrival and made herself available if needed. Garage provided for our vehicles was a bonus. It was also a quick walk to the beach which made return walks if needed easy in the heat. We were extremely pleased with selecting this property and plan to return next summer or sooner!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
