Spectacular views of both BB Ski Resorts from Muir Manor in Big Bear Lake

Muir Manor is centrally located in the popular neighborhood of Moonridge. From the comfort of the living room you can enjoy sweeping views of Bear Mountain Ski Resort through the picture window and Snow Summit Ski Resort through the sliding glass door leading to the expansive deck...all that with a roaring fire in front of you. The cabin has 3 themed bedrooms and comforably sleeps 7. Add in the sleeper sofa in the living room and the number jumps to 9. There are 2 bathrooms; one upstairs with a full bath and shower and another downstairs with a shower. The entire cabin is decorated with skiing and winter activites memorabilia, including 3 sets of ski's and poles over 100 years old. The living room is equipped with a TV hooked to Dish Network, a DVR, DVD player, VHS player, and stereo receiver.

The master bedroom, "The Big Bear Den", is located upstairs and has a queen bed. There is a sliding glass door leading out to the deck as well. If you desire, leave the door ajar at night and in the morning you will wake to the chirping of the Blue Jays. The "Den" has a TV with DVR and a DVD player for those lazy mornings you don't want to jump out of bed.

Downstairs you will find the remaining 2 bedrooms; The "Sonja Henie Room" is decorated in a charming ice skating theme. This room offers a full bed and a baby crib/day bed for those who might need it.

The final bedroom is the kid's delight and aptly named "The Olympic Room" for the aspiring young skiers and snowboarders out there. There is a bunk bed with a twin bed on top, full bed on the bottom, and another twin bed trundle. There are a couple large stuffed bear chairs for lounging in while watching TV or a DVD or VHS tape. This room is also chock full of toys and games for all ages. There is also a small deck off this room overlooking the sledding hill in our back yard.

Also, downstairs is the laundry room with a washed and dryer for your convenience.

Another reason to pack light, if you have children, is the cabin comes with the following neccessities for young families; highchairs, booster chairs, baby crib, pack and play, baby bath, sippy cups, baby plates and utensils, and humidifiers.

We are 1.25 miles from Bear Mountain Ski Resort and 1.25 miles from Snow Summit Ski resort. Yep, right in the middle of the two resorts. We are also .25 miles from the shuttle if you don't want to drive and hassle with parking at the resort.
