Description

This spectacular modern 5 to 6 bedroom 5 bathroom very large home is situated a few minutes from the village and ski lifts, it is on the valley trail and is set in one acre of mature gardens, totally screened with mature trees and very private. The quality of this home is unsurpassed in both construction and furnishings. From the high grade linens to the most amazing waterfall rock hot tub in the acre of yard to the rear. This light airy property is a stones throw from a private sandy beach and lake and has charming mountain views from many rooms. The great room has a 40 foot vaulted ceiling with an outstanding huge stone wood burning fireplace stretching the full height of the vaulted room. There are wooden floors and high grade carpets throughout the home. The home has in fact two master bedroom suites, which helps some what, in  who gets what decisions upon check in.

The home has a spectacular Cinema, home automated Creston system and can play music from 1000 albums in most rooms. The steam room is very large and powerfully equipped. There is a pool table and TV room as well as other TVs in the house.

There is an office and wifi through out.

The house will sleep 12 to 16 people with incremental amounts of squeeze.

The gardens have a wrap around lawn and usually we have professionally built igloos in the gardens for guests

The master bedroom has a morning coffee lounge attached which is separate from the sleeping suite. This adjoins a large terrace with lake and mountain views. This room can be adapted into an additional and separated off double bedroom for accompanying children. Choice of beds available.

Adjoining the hot tub there is a stone BBQ, fire pit, and outdoor wood burning fireplace on the heated terrace which stays free of snow and snow melted water and enables use of this charmingly designed entertainment area through out the winter. The neighborhood is all large lots and very quiet.

The flat areas of the large lot make the grounds and same level interior floors ideal for entertaining and for children on their bikes, which we can provide if asked.

Location

The house is a couple of minutes drive to the village and  ski slopes where there is acres of free parking. There is also a bus service to the slopes that runs from just by the house. Taxis are easily obtainable. Vancouver is, due to the new highway, aprox 1 hour 20 minutes drive. There ia also a train service.

Summer time.

In summer Whistler is actually more busy than in winter and this home is particularly suited to summer vacations as it has the benefit of the use of a private lake and sandy beach, and being on the valley trail , walkers and bikers can access multiple locations in whistler whilst doing morning exercise .Not far along the trail there is public beach with more facilities and swimming rafts and water skiing.

Weddings, reunions and corporate

This property is ideal for weddings and corporate events due to its large wrap around lawns and terraces and having such a large area under roof [ easily handle 30 to 40 people ]  which insures the big day against a rain out. The property is do well suited to entertaining due to its large accommodation ground floor reception and family area which all adjoins the out door facilities through 3 sets of large double doors. There is a granite gourmet kitchen and six fireplaces throughout the home. The heated drive way will keep the entrance and terraces free of snow all winter.

Services.

We aim to accommodate all of your needs and can arrange massages, chefs , book restaurants, assist with tours, and provide additional cleaning and baby sitters by request and additional cost. Please advise of any special needs and we will try our best to accommodate them, no matter how tricky.

The rate per night varies from $1200 in low season to $ 2600 in high season , and during most of the year it averages usually around 1950 per night. Longer stays will get lower rates, very large groups will be at slightly higher rates. However, compared to an average hotel suite, or even room only, the cost per head is significantly less and for way more private facilities.
