This spacious, air conditioned and colorful home is a little more than 1 block to the beach (actually 2nd house west of Pennsylvania Ave) and has been recently refinished to include granite countertops and  kitchen and bathroom flooring, fixtures and lighting.  This home has a big deck and a nice screened porch for relaxing and is located on a quiet cul de sac.  The cul de sac is a great place for kids to play after the beach.  In addition to the whole house air conditioning, the living room has a gorgeous new ceiling fan and each bedroom has its own ceiling fan for individual comfort.

Enter the front door of the main level to find this tastefully decorated, comfortable home's living room with new big flat screen tv (too new for picture), DVD, fireplace, stereo system, two sky lights, two large cozy couches and two lounge chairs with ottomans.  A closet houses puzzles and games for the whole family.   Off the living area is a sunny and spacious eat in kitchen, also with a sky light, electric stove/oven, brand new side by side refrigerator-freezer with access to filtered water and ice through the door....also too new for picture.  There is a dishwasher, microwave and well stocked cooking supplies for those who enjoy cooking and catching up with friends and family around the large farmhouse table, that seats 8, or the kids may sit at the counter, where there are 3 stools. 

A sliding glass door leads to the screened porch that has a large wooden table with 8 chairs, great for eating crabs and having cook outs.  There are both charcoal and gas grills.  The screened porch leads to the deck that is surrounded by trees and  provides both sun and shade.  Four lounge chairs with cushions provide a great catnap area, or allow you to get some sun or read after the beach.  There is also a round patio table available to hold snacks/eat out doors.  The deck stretches to the front of the house so the kids can come right up off the beach for snacks without going through the house.   Also on the main level are 2 bedrooms (one with a lush king bed too new for picture and one with two single beds.)  The king bedroom has sliding glass doors to the deck.  A hall bath with a shower, sink, commode and  linen closet complete the main floor.

Go up the spiral stairs to the reading loft, which has a love seat and two chairs/ottoman and a bookcase with a variety of reading materials. Follow the hallway to the third bedroom, which also has a lush king bed too new for picture and a color tv.  The fourth bedroom mimics the downstairs bedroom with two single beds which may be pushed together to make a king bed.  A large hall bath with a tub/shower granite/porcelain sink and commode also has a nice shelf unit to hold your towells/other personal items. 

The home is on pilings and has off street parking for 3 to 4 cars (one of which is under the house).  There is an outside shower, separate foot rinsing area and a line for drying beach towells and bathing suits.  The basement consists of a washer/dryer/iron/ironing board, commode and additional shower.  Interior stairs lead to the kitchen.

We are located a little over 1 block to the beach on the ocean side of Route 1(Coastal Highway) and about 6 short blocks from downtown Bethany's main street where Bethany's "signature" totem pole is located.  There is a wonderful playground for the children just east of the totem pole.  After relaxing at the beach, it's great to stroll down Pennsylvania Avenue to the many downtown shops and restaurants and ice cream places.   You won't need to use your car much because of the great location of the house. 

Bethany Town Tax of 6% will be added to rate.  Ask owner for nightly and monthly rates. This rental is Sat. to Sat.
