located in the quiet neighborhood of Venice Gardens.  Blue  
skies, white clouds, warm sunshine await you, as does a spectacular  
waterfront view of a natural bird rookery located directly behind  
your vacation home on Lake Shamrock.  Many exotic birds have made  
this small island their year round nesting grounds, so be sure to  
bring your binoculars and your camera for a memorable bird watching  
experience.

Activities and Attractions

Easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful white sand  
beaches of Venice/Sarasota/Ft. Myers.  Just a few minutes drive to  
Venice or Caspersons Beach, where sharks teeth hunting is a Venice  
tradition. 
 
Fun things to do: Golf, swimming, bicycling, tennis, kayaking,  
boating, parks (Myakka State Park and others), visiting the quaint  
shops and restaurants of downtown Venice (a 10 minute ride), or  
heading north to the art filled town of Sarasota. 
 
Being located just miles from I-75 provides easy access to the nearby  
cities of Tampa Bay (70 miles to the north), Sarasota (20 miles to  
the north) and Ft. Myers (55 miles to the south).
