Bay of Fundy Beach House is a large all-season four bedroom Georgian
style beach house overlooking the Bay of Fundy and Cape Split, built in the
1800s with huge principal rooms, and extraordinary views on all four sides.
The Beach House is a quiet, spacious and tastefully appointed luxurious
year-round home, with an expansive Great Room with fully equipped chef's
kitchen with stainless steel appliances, comfortable living room, 4 large
bedrooms and 3 spacious bathrooms. The beach house can easily
accommodate families and groups of 10 including children. The Beach
House was completely restored and renovated in 2004, supervised by a
Canadian architect recently featured in Canadian Architect magazine, and
offers 3500 square feet of comfortably furnished living space on two floors.
The cottage is furnished with classic modern furniture and antiques. Located
in an open landscape of wild blueberry fields, next to the banks of the Bay of
Fundy on the Atlantic Ocean and the Fox River, the Beach House offers wide
beaches and spectacular views of Cape Split and the North Mountains of the
Annapolis Valley. The Great Room includes fully-equipped Chef's Kitchen,
with wide 13 foot long marble-countered island with luxury stainless steel
appliances including dishwasher, micro-wave. The Great Room also is a
spacious family room with comfortable sofas and chairs. Open the door and
walk out to a 20 by 10 foot deck, perfect for taking in the air and views of the
ocean. The separate living/dining room has an extra long refectory dining
table for large family gatherings as well as comfortable seating area. The
room has views on three sides overlooking the ocean, river and village. The
Beach House has 3 extremely large bedrooms with comfortable queen sized
beds and seating, offering a welcome private retreat. A fourth bedroom has
four twin beds. The master bedroom has ensuite bath and a private deck and
balcony. The second bedroom has a private walkout. All bedrooms have
private sink and wash area. The Beach House has three large bathrooms
including one bathtub and two showers. Amenities include a telephone, dial
up internet access, fully equipped modern kitchen, microwave, dishwasher,
refrigerator, electric range, chef quality cooking utensils, linens and towels.

There are many activities to enjoy in the Fox River area. Wander the
wide beaches which run for miles along the Bay of Fundy. Enjoy the
highest tides in the world. Swim, collect shells, dig for clams and
mussels in Fox River as it flows into the Bay. Enjoy award-winning
live theatre and concerts at Ship's Company Theatre nearby, in their
new theatre building. Visit Age of Sail Museum a few minutes away.
Enjoy para-gliding off the beach cliffs. Bike along the winding coast
road. Boat across the bay for an overnight stay in Wolfville, Nova
Scotia. Picnic at the Cape D'or Light House or explore the beach at
Spencer's Island. Walk through the woods to Ward's Falls waterfall
and swim and explore the winding cave. Hunt for fossils at Joggins
Cliffs. Play golf at the award winning Parrsboro golf course,
overlooking the Bay of Fundy.
