We rented this spacious and very tastefully decorated house last year for a week and liked it so much that we returned for a month this year.
It is the best place to get away from it all and relax; whether it is outside lounging on the large terrace, in the pool with a direct view to the sea, the beach under a palm tree, playing in the ocean, or evenings enjoying the warm breezes and star gazing on the roof.
We enjoyed preparing meals in the well equipped and modern kitchen that is outfitted for cooking a gourmet meal and entertaining guests.
The house is close enough to village so that you can walk there either via the beach or the road; enjoy a late lunch or early supper at one of the several fish restaurants; we liked Villa del Mar the best; if you’re too tired to walk back to the house, hiring a motor taxi is always a fun way get home.
Ricardo the friendly onsite caretaker was always around to help us when needed.
After spending a very agreeable month at Playa Bonita we would not hesitate to return to this lovely property in the future.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Villa Playa Bonita Techac

Description we were provided by the owner was not accurate,there was no outside furniture as per the photographs, we moved some furniture that was inside the house to the outside, some of the seats were old and looked unsafe,

it took 3 days for the house keeper to show us were things were and how they worked this was only after we contacted him, we did not realise there was a washing machine untill he unlocked the door we had no key do do this our selfs, as there was no AC, we would of expected the fans to work, not so although this was pointed out to the house keeper he said there was nothing he could do,also the showers did not work we had to use a hand shower, we paid the house keeper 3 times to carryout the extra cleaning.

Outside the pool filters were not working or not swiched on it took 4 days for this to be rectifide, all external light fittings looked in bad condition i could go on but to be fare with a bit of TLC this place would be great, also if the house keeper spent more time looking after the house and not fishing and renting his nets to other vacationers the house would be in good condition.

please note the photographs on the web and some extra supplied to us befor we booked look nothing like it in real life, we also traveled from the UK and then drove 4hs to get to the house.
