Loon-ey/ Green Lake waterfront cottage in Interlochen

Enjoy the panoramic view from inside the cottage.  Spacious living area with open floor plan to view spectacular sunrises over the lake.   Twenty (20) feet of green grass seperates the cottage from the sand/gravel bottom lake.

Most of the cottage has been renovated since 2007 including new flooring, windows, paint,ceiling fans, matresses.  Enclosed porch for quiet reading or morning coffee.  Two lakeview bedrooms; largest has 1 queen and twin bunk beds and the other 1 queen.  The third bedroom has two twins and is great for daytime sleeping.  One table lakeside for cards, game playing or meals and another in kitchen area.

The fully equipped kitchen has microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes,  pots and pans. Please bring linens and towels

The cottage has cable TV, DVD, VCR, stereo and many board games for family fun.

There is a dock, row boat, and canoe.   Several chairs are available for outside seating and a firepit.

Sorry, no pets and smoking is allowed outside only. Cottage is not handicap accessible.

Green Lake is great for swimming, fishing and boating.  Amazingly, there is very little boat traffic.  This over 2000 acre lake has depths up to 100 feet and is clear and clean.   The fish are abundant; brown trout, lake trout, large and small mouth bass, perch and bluegill.

Interlochen area offers plentiful outdoor and cultural activities.  The Interlochen Center for the Arts is across the bay or 2 miles by road. You can enjoy top notch entertainment.  Students and faculty perform daily.

Mountain bike or hike the many wooded trails.  Canoe or kayak the nearby rivers and streams. Play golf at one of the many courses within 30 miles.  Take a drive to Leelanau or Old Mission Penninsula for a wine tasting tour.

$800.00-$900.00 weekly June - August

Cottage is rented Saturday to Saturday.

Check Out is 11:00am and Check In is 2:00pm
