There is an alternative to the vacation rentals on Sanibel Island.  Pine Island is less crowded, less touristy, less expensive and just as beautiful.  Our stunning estate is located on the south side of Pine Island in St. James City.  It is only a pleasurable 5 minute boat ride out to the Gulf of Mexico and then 10 to 15 minutes to reach the sandy shores of Sanibel.  We have 318' of frontage on the bay with spectacular views with several uninhabited islands in sight.  The interior is beautiful as well, tastefully decorated with water views from almost every window in the house!  Five balconies and a beautiful widow-walk that was featured in the New York Times newspaper.  Yes, the views from this widow-walk are amazing!  You cannot imagine how breathtaking the sunrise and sunset is!!

You need not leave Pine Island for a dream vacation.  This is Sanibel's alternative, however, we do not have a sandy beach, you can reach many large sandy beach options by boat.  Sanibel is only 15 - 20 minutes by boat.  There are many more options for sandy shores than Sanibel!!  We can share our favorite beach get-aways!
