Cattail Retreat in Burnsville

Nestled on the side of the mountain, our "Cattail Retreat" cabin is located in the Cattail Creek Community, in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This charming cabin is close to everything while' at the same time, feeling like you have left everything behind.  With nature all around , you will fall asleep and awaken to the sounds of the creek tumbling down the side of the mountain.  The two wood burning fireplaces, one in the spacious living room and the second outside on the stone patio, make this cabin twice as warm and cozy. Totally remodeled, our competely furnished cabin has a gourmet kithen, master suite with a private bath, large loft with 2 seperate (queen and twins) sleeping areas and  full bath, the large dining table has enough room for a sit down dinner, and ..if you must..a laundry area.  We have all of the creature comforts plus more.  All you need to do is bring your personal items.  So if it is 1 or 6, you will be totally comfortable and at home in this awesome cabin with mountain views from every window.

The nearby town of Burnsville has one of the most charming town squares in the state.  With it's shops and cafes, and even a 50's movie theater, there is really no reason to go any further.  But should you decide to be more adventuresome, there are dozens of points of interest close by.  Whether you are looking to hike, fish, golf, antique, visit Ashville or Boone, Penland School of Crafts, watching the leaves turn, or lounge on the patio with a good book, our cabin is a perfect location to spend your vacation
